Where it Started

Iris, a seasoned professional with over 30 years in the hairdressing industry, has nurtured her passion for both hairstyling and entrepreneurship, culminating in the creation of this exceptional salon.

Her journey began with training in Belgium, followed by a unique experience styling hair aboard cruise ships. Settling in the scenic south of England, she honed her skills at an extraordinary salon, working alongside some of the world’s top hairstylists.

This invaluable experience paved the way for Iris to embark on her entrepreneurial adventure. Taking a leap of faith, she founded her own salon, combining her talent and vision to offer exceptional hairstyling services. As life unfolded and her family grew, Iris sought the perfect environment for her daughter, leading her to choose Australia as their new home.

In Australia, Iris took on diverse roles in her salon journey, from
managing a home-based salon to a smaller boutique establishment and
now, a thriving large-scale salon with an exceptional team. The story is
still unfolding, and Iris is excited for the next chapter in her journey,
making her mark in the Australian hairdressing scene. Welcome to this
exciting phase of her incredible hairdressing adventure.

Katy: Master Stylist & Salon Manager - Short Hair & Pixie cut Specialist

Katy recently made the move from the UK, bringing her whole family along for a sun-soaked Aussie adventure. With 19 years of salon management experience, she’s a pro at short haircuts and knows how to keep a salon running smoothly. When she’s not working her magic, you’ll find her soaking up the sun at the beach.

Emma: Salon Coordinator & Master Stylist - Colour Specialist

Originally from the UK, Emma is the friendly face that keeps The Hair Chapel running smoothly while also welcoming clients behind the chair as one of our Premier Stylists. A true colour specialist, she loves creating everything from seamless colour refreshes to complete transformations and advanced colour corrections. Her calm, caring approach and attention to detail ensure every client leaves feeling confident and looked after.

Outside the salon, Emma loves spending time with her family, taking her puppy on adventures, and winding down with a spicy margarita.

Maisie is one of The Hair Chapel’s rising stars and has quickly built a reputation as our blonde and hair extension specialist. Passionate about creating everything from bright blondes to effortless lived-in colour and seamless extensions, she has an incredible eye for detail and loves delivering beautiful, healthy hair transformations.

With a natural creative flair and a drive to continually learn, Maisie has already been invited to work alongside leading industry educators on stage—an exciting achievement early in her career. Friendly, confident and dedicated to exceptional results, she’s fast becoming the go-to stylist for clients wanting stunning blonde hair and premium hair extensions with a personalised touch.

When she’s not in the salon, you’ll usually find Maisie out camping, soaking up the outdoors, or unwinding with an Aperol Spritz.

Hope: Senior Stylist - Brunette & Transformation Specialist

Hope has a passion for creating rich brunettes, dimensional colour and beautiful hair transformations. She loves helping clients refresh their look, whether that’s taking blonde hair to a glossy brunette, enhancing natural depth or creating seamless multi-tonal colour. With an eye for detail and a warm, caring approach, Hope enjoys designing personalised colours that complement each client’s style and lifestyle. Outside the salon, she loves unwinding on the weekends and spending quality time with family and friends.

Kiara: Advancing Stylist - Hair Extension Specialist

As The Hair Chapel’s extension specialist, she is continually expanding her expertise in weft, nano and keratin bond extensions, helping clients achieve added length, volume and seamless, natural-looking results. She loves learning new techniques and is dedicated to delivering personalised extension solutions that suit each client’s lifestyle and hair goals. Outside the salon, Kiara enjoys spending time with family and friends and is always looking for ways to continue growing her skills within the industry.

Sophie: Advancing Stylist - Blonde & Foiling Specialist

With a gentle, caring approach and a keen eye for detail, Eleni enjoys helping clients feel comfortable while delivering fresh, beautiful results. Lana: Emerging Stylist – Future Blonde Specialist

Avey: Junior Stylist

Avey is our school-based apprentice and is excited to begin her hairdressing journey with The Hair Chapel. Passionate about learning from our experienced team, she is building strong foundations in all aspects of hairdressing while developing her skills and confidence every day. Avey loves being part of the salon environment and enjoys helping create a welcoming experience for every client. With a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, she’s excited to grow her career and become an exceptional stylist.

I have tried other hairdressers and my hair often felt dull and flat instead of light and full. OMG I am wrapped with the outcome!
